Florida Bible College Alumni Association Elects Officers
(PRWeb) March 21, 2007 -- Joe Alessi, Mels Carbonell, and Donna Peabody Rodgers have been elected president, vice president, and secretary/treasurer of the Florida Bible College Alumni Association. Using online balloting, officer elections were held at the www.FloridaBibleCollege.com web site September 9-24. Alumni are encouraged to check the web site frequently for news, messages, and other information.
Joe ('74) is best known among alumni for his work with the singing group, Eternity. Today he works as a Regional Vice President / Registered Principal with Primerica Financial Services, helping people get out of debt and retire financially secure. He currently resides in Round Rock, Texas. Joe would like the alumni association help keep the alumni in touch with each other and wants to investigate the possibility of future CYR-type reunions that Buzzy and Kathy Nofal organized.
Mels ('66) was one of the founders of the alumni association back in 1968. Through Uniquely You he helps individuals, churches, and organizations improve relationships and become more successful by identifying and understanding personality types. Mels lives in Blue Ridge, Georgia. His current vision for the alumni association is to be of service to the alumni by aiding communication and encouragement.
While a student, Donna ('74) served in student government and sang with Altogether and Free Joy. She and her husband have their own business doing electronic testing for the cellular industry in Woodstock, Georgia. One of Donna's top priorities for the alumni association is facilitating contact for those who wish to know about each other so that we can encourage each other in our walk with the Lord.
