Homes For Our Troops Announces that Pulte Homes has Committed to Building a Specially Adapted Home for Severely Wounded Colorado Veteran SSG Matthew K

Parker, CO (PRWEB) September 7, 2007 -- Homes For Our Troops, a non-profit organization that provides specially adapted homes for severely wounded veterans, announced that Pulte Homes has made a commitment to build a specially adapted new home for Colorado Veteran, SSG Matthew Keil.

SSG Keil volunteered for his first tour (in Iraq) because he was single and had hoped to take the place of someone either married or had kids. However, on his second tour in Iraq, the newly married 25-year-old soldier was hit by sniper fire near Ramadi, Iraq in February 2007. The injury left him a quadriplegic, though he has regained some use of his left hand.

Pulte Homes, Inc., based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., is a FORTUNE 200 company with operations in 52 markets and 27 states. Gabriel Lopez, a representative of Pulte Homes, said the company is very pleased with this opportunity to help. "To participate in this is exactly what our company is about," Lopez said.
