Poker Room School Player Wins a Seat at the Irish Open -- 'Badcarplay3r' Turns Good

(PRWEB) March 15, 2008 -- Poker Room School (http://www.pokerroomschool.com/?member=prweb&lang=en) is sending one lucky winner to play in the Irish Open in March.

The winner of the Irish Open Super Satellite will be going on an all-expenses-paid trip to Dublin to participate in the Irish Open, one of the richest tournaments in Europe.

Jose. G beat off stiff competition to win the satellite.

He won the Irish Open Package worth $8,500, including buy-in to the main event, roundtrip airfare and accommodation, courtesy of CDPoker (http://banner.cdpoker.com/cgi-bin/redir.cgi?member=prweb).

The Irish Open takes place from March 19 - 24th and will be held at Dublin's CityWest Hotel. Participants have a shot at the ?3 million guaranteed prize pool.

Jose G, from Quebec, has been a member of Poker Room School since July 2007. In this short time, he picked up many poker tips and honed his skills with our help. Beginning less than a year ago as an amateur online player, Jose will now play against professional players in this live tournament. Last year's winner took home ?650,000 in prize money.

At just 20 years old, Jose will be one of the youngest players at the televised event, which has a 1000 player capacity. Playing under the alias 'badcardplay3r', Jose is certainly bluffing with his name, or at least being modest. We're sure to hear more about this young poker champion in the coming months.

Direct buy-in to the Irish Open costs ?4,200 but CD Poker satellites made it all possible for buy-ins as low as $2.

We will be following Jose's progress in Ireland, and hope to see our Poker Room School winner go far.
