Poker Software Firm Dobrosoft Acquired by Digital Gaming Network
Gibraltor (PRWeb) December 22, 2006 -- The assets of Gibraltar-based poker software firm Dobrosoft have been acquired by Digital Gaming Network, (DGN) which plans to elevate the company's profile and profits in the online gaming space. Dobrosoft's owners will be transitioning the management of the company to the new DGN management team over the next 90 days. Dobrosoft's rank and file software staff will be retained in the new venture. DGN has already invested heavily in infrastructure and human resources with the recruitment of several online poker industry executives and IT managers. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
"The company looks forward to having the additional resources and expertise that DGN can bring to the table to help the company grow in ways that can fulfill its longtime potential," said Dobrosoft's transitioning founder and CEO, Vinko Dobrosevic. Digital Gaming Network, a privately held firm, has watched recent developments force gaming operators to seek out reliable and flexible platforms, especially in the online poker space. DGN sees the acquisition and further development of the core Dobrosoft platform as a key to solving many of the issues faced by operators in growing their poker business.
